Krush Community Guidelines
Krush is a platform dedicated to building authentic and respectful relationships in a secure, inclusive, and welcoming environment. We encourage our members to act with respect and create a space where everyone feels safe.
These Community Guidelines aim to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all. They define prohibited behaviors and content, both on our platform and in external interactions.
Profile Guidelines
- Age. To join Krush, you must be at least 18 years old. It is strictly forbidden to create a profile claiming to be under 18. If necessary, we may ask you for identification to confirm your age. Failure to comply with this rule will result in your access to the platform being blocked.
- Profile Pictures. We want your profile to reflect your authenticity. Therefore, at least one of your photos must show you alone and clearly display your full face. We do not accept:
- Photos that are heavily edited or with exaggerated digital effects that make it difficult to identify the person in the image.
- Memes or images that consist mainly (or entirely) of text as a profile picture.
- Photos of children alone on the profile.
- Photos featuring unclothed children.
- Username. Members can use initials, abbreviations, nicknames, first names, or shortened versions of their name, as well as full names or middle names. The use of a legal name is not required, but usernames must reflect an authentic name as used in daily life. We prohibit:
- Any term or phrase that violates our conduct rules.
- The use of a celebrity's name or a fictional character's name.
- The use of words, symbols (e.g., $, *, @), numbers, emojis, or punctuation marks that do not form a valid name.
Content and Behavior Guidelines
Nudity and Adult Sexual Activities
We prohibit profile content that includes nudity, sexually explicit scenes, or vulgar sexual behavior. We also ban the commercial exchange of romantic or sexual services, activities, or content, including attempts to sell, advertise, or buy adult sexual content.
Harassment and Abusive Behavior
Our goal is to foster friendly connections. We do not accept content or behavior that creates an environment where an individual or group feels harassed, threatened, or targeted. This includes disparaging remarks, insults, bullying, unsolicited comments on others' appearance, psychological violence, blackmail, repeated unwanted contact, or the encouragement of or advocacy for violent acts.
Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse
We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against any form of child sexual exploitation and abuse. We prohibit any content that sexualizes or endangers children, whether real or fictional (e.g., in anime, media, texts, illustrations, or digital images). This includes any visual representation or discussion involving explicit sexual behavior with a child. For the purposes of this policy, a child is defined as a person under the age of 18. It is strictly prohibited to upload, store, produce, share, or encourage the sharing of material related to child sexual abuse, even if the purpose is to denounce or raise awareness about the issue.
Commercial and Promotional Activities
Our platform is not intended to serve as a marketplace. We prohibit the use of Krush for unsolicited commercial or promotional purposes.
Controlled Goods and Substances
We do not permit the use of our platforms for the purchase, sale, provision, distribution, promotion, or facilitation of the purchase, sale, provision, or distribution of illegal drugs and/or controlled goods and substances. This includes electronic cigarettes, marijuana, drug-related equipment, as well as the abuse of legal substances such as prescription drugs, tobacco, or alcohol.
Dangerous Organizations and Individuals
We prohibit organizations or individuals who advocate, glorify, approve of, or are known to support a violent, dangerous, or terrorist mission from having a presence on Krush.
Identity-Based Hate Speech
Our goal is to promote a diverse and inclusive community on Krush. We prohibit any content or behavior that incites or tolerates hatred, dehumanization, degradation, or contempt towards marginalized or minority communities based on the following protected attributes: race/ethnicity, national origin/nationality/immigration status, caste, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability or serious health condition, as well as religion/belief.
Inauthentic Profiles
Krush values authenticity, and we expect all of our members to represent themselves truthfully on their profiles. We prohibit impersonation or false representations on our platform. This includes catfishing (creating a false online persona that is not you) or misrepresenting facts about yourself (such as name, gender, age, and permanent location).
Disinformation
We prohibit the sharing of content that is clearly false or substantially misleading and could cause serious harm or impact the safety of individuals or the public. This includes content that directly contradicts information and guidance from global health organizations and trusted public health authorities, false or misleading information about civic processes, as well as dangerous and unproven conspiracy theories.
Physical and Sexual Violence
We do not tolerate any content, image, or behavior that commits or threatens to commit credible acts of physical or sexual violence. This includes physical harassment, using our platform to aid, facilitate, or support human trafficking or exploitation, as well as sexual assault in all its forms, which we define as unwanted physical contact or attempted physical contact of a sexual nature.
Scams and Theft
Krush prohibits any scam or theft activities aimed at defrauding or manipulating members to extract financial or material resources. This includes asking for or seeking financial support, lying about intentions to gain financial profit, or pretending romantic intentions to deceive members and deprive them of financial or material resources.
Sexual Harassment
We do not tolerate sexual harassment. We consider sexual harassment any unwanted, non-physical, and intrusive sexual behavior between members. This includes cyber-flashing (sharing unsolicited sexually explicit images), in-person exhibitionism, sharing or threatening to share sexual or intimate images without consent, sending unsolicited sexual comments or images, and fetishization.
Spam
We do not allow any type of unsolicited or irrelevant content sent in bulk or at high frequency. This includes sharing misleading or misdirected links, excessive account creation causing disruption to other members, or having multiple active profiles to engage in unwanted interactions.
Promotion of Suicide and Self-Harm
We deeply care about our members and understand that some may be struggling with mental health issues, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, substance abuse, or eating disorders. While we allow members to share their personal experiences in a safe manner, we do not accept any content that describes, promotes, glorifies, or aids activities that could lead to suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders or body image issues.
Violent and Graphic Content
We prohibit violent, graphic, or gory content. This includes descriptions of violence in usernames or profile content, photos containing blood, bodily fluids, or real or realistic injuries, as well as images depicting firearms, unless they relate to a member in a law enforcement or military uniform.
Platform Manipulation
We prioritize a community based on authentic connections. Therefore, any attempt to artificially influence connections, Matches, conversations, or engagement through automation or the use of scripts is strictly prohibited.
Security Reports
Security is a top priority on Krush. We use a combination of human moderators and automated systems to monitor and review accounts and interactions on Krush to detect any content that may violate our community guidelines, our Terms of Service, or be otherwise harmful.
Our members play a key role in the security of Krush by reporting any content or behavior that may violate our Community Charter. If you feel uncomfortable or in danger, we strongly encourage you to remove the match or block and report the member in question.
However, disagreeing with or disliking a member or their content is not necessarily a valid reason to report them. We will take action against a member if we find that they are intentionally creating false or inappropriate reports against other members based solely on their protected attributes. This includes reporting transgender or non-binary members for no reason other than their gender identity or expression, or sending repeated false reports of misconduct.
Enforcement Philosophy
All members must comply with the platform's rules as outlined in our Community Charter. If you behave in a way that goes against this Charter and the values of Krush, or if you act in a way that we deem potentially harmful to Krush or its members, we may take action against your account. When determining sanctions for violating our Community Charter, we consider several factors.
For example, we may :
- Remove content
- Issue a warning
- Restrict the offending member's access to certain or all Krush Inc. applications
If necessary, we may also cooperate with law enforcement to support criminal investigations related to member behavior.
Your behavior towards others outside of the Krush app may also lead to actions against your account. If we are informed of harm occurring during dates, meetups with friends, via text messages, direct messaging platforms, or suspected criminal or harmful behavior, whether in your past or outside of Krush, we may take action as if it had occurred on our platform.
If you believe we have made a mistake in taking action against your account or content, you can always contact us here.
